Actually called, "The Cold Jigger Diner". When they put this google location here the Cold was missing the L so the guy who stopped here must have thought it was Cod. Definitely no Cod here they only serve Meatloaf and Spam. Great warm drink however had the best glass of Mother's Milk Mead in ages.

We were a party of 12 so we expected some delay in service. We were seated immediately (just enough room for us). 2 of our party sat at a different table. They received their meal fairly prompt, however, it took over an hour for the rest of us to get our meals. Most of it was fried food so I'm not sure why the delay. When the food came out it was tasty and fresh (which was good). We did noticed that some of us had home made fries while others had frozen packaged fries. I guess they ran out.

A side of hash browns were only barely warm and soaking with fat. Over easy eggs were scabbed over on one side. No homemade bread so settled with the whole wheat 'commercial', saturated with margarine. Coffee was good, however I asked if they had coffee cream, they said 'yes' but it was liquid coffee whitener. Breakfast didn't include the hash browns or coffee / tea so by the time it was all said and done it was a $23+ before tip for two ( only one order of hash browns). I didn't enjoy my meal at all. We debated this place or Nicole's. Wish we had chosen the later, but never have eaten there so can't compare, however I don't see it being worse.. That said, a nice and tidy interior, the staff were very pleasant and the washroom very clean!

From the owners to the cooks and the servers you will not get better Newfoundland service anywhere. The food is so good!! Fresh!! nothing greasy, quick to your table,, and most importantly they don't rush you out! You can stay and take it all in. They are also open all year long. I do miss them
